Police in Kuria West Sub-County, Migori County, have arrested two suspects and seized narcotics and illicit alcohol in a major raid in Kehancha Town.

During the operation, officers raided a residential house near Ladopharma Hospital, where they arrested a 46-year-old woman.
A search of her home uncovered a black bag containing 179 rolls of cannabis, four packets of Super Match Export cigarettes, and Ksh 21,140 in cash, believed to be proceeds from the illegal trade.
A second suspect was arrested in a separate room during the operation. Police recovered additional rolls of cannabis and a 10-litre jerrican of chang’aa, a locally brewed illicit liquor.
Both suspects are in custody and will be processed and arraigned in court.
