Two Arrested, Stolen Items Recovered In Mombasa

Police officers in Likoni, acting on a tip-off from members of the public, conducted a successful raid on a house in Soweto, JCC Area.

According to the National Police Service (NPS), the officers recovered a range of items believed to have been stolen in previous incidents during the operation.

Among the items recovered were two television sets, a coffee maker, one laptop, gas cylinders, a jungle bag, multiple identification cards among other items.

Additionally, 38 rolls of a substance suspected to be cannabis (bhang) were seized at the scene.

Two suspects were arrested in connection with the recovered items and are currently in police custody, pending arraignment in court.

This recovery underscores the effectiveness of community-police collaboration in combating crime, reinforcing the National Police Service’s commitment to disrupting criminal networks and ensuring public safety.
