Two suspected thugs were shot dead in a botched robbery incident in Kikuyu area and a pistol found on them.
The men were riding on a motorcycle and were stealing from pedestrians when police were alerted.
Police say a third suspect managed to escape on foot.
A homemade pistol, one bullet and some of the valuables that had been stolen were recovered from the slain men.
