Three suspected thugs were last evening shot dead in a botched robbery incident in Githurai Kimbo, Nairobi.
The suspects were in a group of two others on two different motorcycles and had been robbing pedestrians when police were alerted, resulting in a chase.
According to police, two others managed to flee the scene and they recovered a pistol, various car spare parts, a torch, and a blow cut machine, among other crude weapons, from them.
The bodies were taken to the mortuary.
