Police in Kilifi have arrested two suspects and seized 26 rolls of cannabis sativa following a dramatic chase in Kashem area on Monday, 15 September 2025.
According to police reports, officers from Kilifi Police Station were on routine patrol when they spotted two men riding a motorcycle, registration number KMEC 461G, with the pillion passenger carrying a small bag.
When flagged down, the duo attempted to escape, prompting a hot pursuit that ended with their arrest in Kashem. A search of the suspects revealed 26 rolls of cannabis hidden in the bag.
The motorcycle, a black Boxer, has been impounded, and the suspects remain in custody pending their arraignment in court.
