Two suspects including a boda boda rider have been arrested in Kisii County in connection with the raping of a graduating candidate, an incident that occurred on Saturday.
It is alleged that the student was on a way from clearing at the university when she decided to board a motorcycle to her friends house, who instead, took a turn and sped towards his own house.
It was then that another man joined the duo and raped the university student.
“Upon getting there, they were joined by another man before she was reportedly raped,” said the University dean of students on Monday.
Kisii County Police Commander Martin Kibet who confirmed the incident confirmed that the said the suspects will be arraigned at Kisii Court on Tuesday.
