Tyson Fury has renewed calls for a third bout against undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, declaring himself the only man capable of beating the Ukrainian after his dominant win over Daniel Dubois at Wembley on Saturday.

Usyk, 38, delivered a commanding fifth-round knockout of the British contender to reclaim the IBF heavyweight title, which he had vacated after his historic victory over Fury in May 2024. That split-decision win in Riyadh saw Usyk become the first undisputed heavyweight champion in over two decades, holding the WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF belts simultaneously.

Following a second defeat to Usyk, this time by unanimous decision in December 2024, Fury briefly retired from boxing. However, the 36-year-old “Gypsy King” has since hinted at a comeback and is now openly campaigning for another chance to face Usyk.

In a fiery video posted to Instagram, Fury congratulated Usyk on his victory over Dubois but claimed the Ukrainian “knows” who truly holds the upper hand.

“Massive shout-out to Oleksandr Usyk,” Fury said during a training run. “He did a fantastic performance tonight over Daniel Dubois… but Oleksandr Usyk knows there is only one man who can beat him. I did it twice before and the world knows it. I took it like a man.”

He continued defiantly: “No matter what anyone wants to say, I won those fights. Guaranteed, 100 percent. There is only one man, GK [Gypsy King] all day, every day.”

Fury’s promoter Frank Warren confirmed that while the prospect of a trilogy fight with Usyk is appealing, current WBO mandatory challenger Joseph Parker is next in line.

“Tyson has made it very clear to me he would love to fight at Wembley and would love to do that [third Usyk] fight. And it would be a big fight, I am quite sure of it,” Warren said.

However, he emphasized Parker’s position: “As a fan, I would like to see the Joe Parker fight. Joe deserves it. He is on a run himself, similar to what Daniel [Dubois] was on, and that is the fight that has been ordered. One way or another, it will either happen, or Joe will fight for the vacant title.”

Usyk’s resurgence against Dubois not only reaffirmed his dominance in the division but also reignited debate about his legacy among boxing’s elite. With Fury back in the conversation and Parker pressing his claim, the heavyweight division appears headed for another explosive chapter.
