Samia Suluhu Hassan has held talks through phone with Chinese President, Xi Jinping.
In the talks Tanzania and China have agreed to promote cooperation in the fields of economic, cultural and international cooperation.
China has pledged to further expand its market for Tanzanian products as well as increase investment, especially in the manufacturing sector.
In addition, through the talks China has pledged to support the efforts of the Sixth Phase Government in the implementation of development projects in the field.
