The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has endorsed former Garissa governor Ali Korane as its candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial race, officially handing him the party ticket.
Korane, who served as Garissa governor between 2017 and 2022, is seeking a comeback and becomes the first aspirant in the county to secure a party ticket ahead of the polls.
