Ugunja Police Recover Stolen TVs, Furniture From Thief

Yesterday evening, a group of National Police Service officers under the direction of the OCS Ugunja Police Station carried out an intelligence-driven operation in the villages of Nyamasaria and Sira in the Ugunja Sub-County of Siaya County.

The officers investigated Clinton Ochieng’s home during the operation and found a variety of items they believed to be stolen.

A 42″ Hisense TV, a 32″ SINQT TV, furniture, utensils and silverware, mobile phones, and a luggage containing clothes were among the items.

A wrecking bar, pliers, and a hammer that were also found are thought to be his tools of the trade.

An inventory of the found goods was completed after the recovery scene had been cleaned up.

As the suspect is scheduled to appear in court, the objects have been detained at the Ugunja Police Station pending identification by the appropriate owners.
