Uhuru Takes On Ruto, Stamps Authority In Central

President Uhuru Kenyatta has slammed his deputy William Ruto for spreading ‘lies’ over his exclusion from Raila handshake deal.

Kenyatta declared in his native Kikuyu at the Sagana State Lodge on Wednesday that Kenya was stagnated and that all he wanted was peace.

He also stated that he is willing to pass over power to Odinga as his preferred successor since he is capable of guiding the economy.

“The man I will pass over power to, and you all know who he is and have been saying his name, will receive a 13 trillion dollar economy from me, whereas I inherited a 5 trillion dollar economy from Kibaki.”

President Uhuru chided Ruto for lying to Kenyans over details surrounding the handshake.

“I briefed him till the last minute when I was going to receive my buddy,” Kenyatta stated during Wednesday’s Sagana III meeting.

“It was all about peace.”

Uhuru Kenyatta said his move was out of concern for the sake of peace.

“Of course, he was opposed to it (the handshake) because he knows he has government security, but what about the regular guy down there? That is the person I was concerned about since the country was practically paralyzed, and we all wanted peace.”
