Hungarian President János Áder arrived in Kenya Sunday evening for a four-day state visit.

Ader who was accompanied by First Lady Anita Herczegh jetted in on an Air Force jet.

The delegation was received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo and her ICT counterpart Joe Mucheru.

Police have warned of possible traffic disruptions as he and his team moves around the city.

He is expected to meet President Kenyatta for bilateral talks later today.

Hungary relations with Kenya have long been strong, on the backdrop of promoting democracy, human rights and donation.

And they’ve been sending assistance in a variety of areas, including agriculture.

They agreed to a $50 million aid program in 2019 to promote healthcare, increase agricultural output, and improve irrigation projects.
