Uhuru to meet recovered patients at State House, apologizes over brutality

President Uhuru Kenyatta has apologized for the brutality meted on Kenyans during the implementation of a curfew order on 27th March 2020.


Speaking during a live conference with two recovered patients of the Coronavirus, Uhuru advised Kenyans to abide by the curfew rules and health guidelines issued by CS Mutahi Kagwe.


Uhuru commended Brenda and Brian for reporting their status in good time, urging other Kenyans to emulate their practice.

The President said working together is the only solution and said his Government, aided by the people of Kenya will overcome the Coronavirus challenge.

“I appeal to you, my people. Corona knows no tribe. No age bracket. No boundary. Let us come together to defeat this pandemic.”
