The Cooperative University of Kenya located in the leafy Karen suburbs was forced to issue a public apology after a banner sensitizing Gender Based Violence, turned violent on them.
The banner had pictures of various outfits, under the theme ‘Dress How You Want To Be Addressed’.
However netizens criticized the photo for appearing to vindicate men from Gender Based Violence.
After an uproar on social media, the university shifted blame to the student leadership which they claim was printed without their knowledge.
