The graduation saga at the University of Nairobi School of Business has taken a new twist after the Dean summoned the protesting students to a meeting.
The students were invited via email to the elite School in Lower Kabete and intimidated over the decision to move to the High Court and stop the Friday event
During the meeting, the Dean reportedly asked them to look for their project supervisors over plagiarism issues. However, the supervisors refused to meet with them, saying they had already finished their work.
The UON, a hub of education excellence for decades, is now fighting ineptitude allegations.
The group has already instructed a senior law firm to stop the graduation.
The University Senate has weighed in on the saga and is demanding a written explanation from the Vice Chancellor.
The 200 students’ work has already been published after it was passed as original work.
They have attached a payment for the publication as part of the evidence
