Kenya has been downgraded to Level Three by the US, which has also issued travel advice against the nation because to an increase in Covid-19 infections.
In October 2021, the United States classified Kenya as Level One, a safer rating that required residents to follow established processes.
The Level Three category, which is now in effect in the East African country, pertains to places where there have been between 100 and 500 Covid-19 instances per 100,000 people in the previous 28 days.
As a result, American citizens were warned to avoid all non-essential travel to Kenya or to reconsider their plans to visit the country.
The demotion comes in the midst of the United Arab Emirates’ active embargo.
