The President said that the US has passed the peak of New covid 19 cases.
“The data suggests that nationwide we have passed we have passed the peak of new cases.” He said.
“We’ll be the comeback kid, all of us, we want to get our country back,” Trump said. The US government had earlier indicated the country would be able to return to normalcy by 1 May.
Yesterday alone the US recorded 3,000 deaths with their death toll hitting 30,985, the highest number globally. New York has over 10,000 making it the most hit state by the virus in the US.
China Coverup
Trump has on various occasions accused China of covering up the intensity of the virus when it first blew up in the city of Wuhan.
The US government is also investigating a possibility of the novel Corona virus having origsnted in a Chinese laboratory in Wuhan rather than a market.
Though nothing has yet been concluded on the origin of the virus, US intelligence also looks into possibilities that the virus could have been accidentally released to the public.
