Gibson Gathu Mbugua, the late Vioja Mahakamani actor, will be buried on January 3rd at Matundura, North Kinangop, Laikipia County.
His corpse arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Thursday morning after passing away at Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret, where he had received a kidney transplant in July.
His corpse was received by close family and friends early Thursday morning.
His health quickly deteriorated, and he was transferred to the same clinic, where he was confined to the Intensive Care Unit until his death on Thursday morning.
The famed actor, who had been battling diabetes for nearly 20 years, made a public plea in May to enable him to have a kidney transplant, which he received in July.
