Citizen TV journalist Waihiga Mwaura has announced his exit from Royal Media Services after 14 years at the broadcaster.
The seasoned journalist says he is headed for BBC Africa.
“After 14 amazing years at Royal Media Services (Citizen TV), my time here has come to an end. My next stop is @BBCNews @BBCAfrica specifically focus on Africa,” Waihiga announced on his Twitter account.
The seasoned journalist, announced that his last show will be tonight, Tuesday, May 2.
“I’ll share more details soon, but in the meantime, see you on my last episode of #Newsnight at 9pm on @citizentvkenya,” he added.
He joined the TV station in 2009 as a sports anchor.
