The scramble for Raila Odinga in Ukambani has kicked up a dust-storm with all aspiring governors lining up to receive him.
Nzioka Waita, the Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) party leader, Francis Maliti of Maendeleo Chapchap, Mutua Katuku and the outgoing governor have all placed publicity messages urging supporters to join the Azimio caravan and vote for Raila.
On 5th of March Raila will extensively tour Machakos County the heart and soul of Kalonzo, in a charm offensive to Woo the Kamba community.
In the last two elections Machakos ,Kitui and Makueni have overwhelmingly voted in the ODM leader.
Nziokas supporters are hold up in his rural home at Kiima Kimwe to plan a welcoming party for the Azimio leader.
It will be Raila’s first tour of Ukambani since his rivalry with Kalonzo Musyoka went viral after the later cried betrayal.
