George Wajackoyah’s Roots Party of Kenya has confirmed the appointed Yagnik Vinod Ramji as the Deputy Party Leader.
The party also named Naran Velji Arjan as CEO and Janet Akinyi Odhiambo as Deputy National Chairperson in an advertisement.
“Following a resolution by Roots Party National Executive Committee, (NEC) in a meeting held at the party head office we confirm the appointment of new party officials,” the notice read.
This comes just days after party leader George Wajackoyah and running mate Justina Wamae clashed over allegations that she misrepresented the party’s position.
Wajackoyah and his running mate Justina Wamae have been pulling in different direction as they accuse each other of disregarding party rules.
