The driver Mohamed Abdulahi Nur is in hospital after he was physically assaulted and bled in a confrontation with the guards attached to governor Ahmed Ali Muktar.

Nur who is attached to a local Member of Parliament told police the incident happened at Buna airstrip on Saturday, October 30 after the opening of Korondile Sub County.

The victim was later rushed to Buna Sub County Hospital while unconscious where he was referred to Wajir County Referral Hospital.
