Chinese Prime Minister and State Counsellor Wang Yi is set to cross the floating bridge in Liwatoni to inspect the marvel project that has ended congestion at Likoni ferry.

The project is financed by the China Government to contain the spread of Covid-19 at the Likoni ferries operated by Kenya Ferry Services (KFS).

The high ranking Chinese official is also set to meet with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Later on, he will tour the Kipevu Oil Terminal as well as other China-funded construction projects located within the Coastal region.

Wang Yi arrived in Kenya on January 5th and was welcomed by Foreign Affairs CS Amb. Raychelle Omamo.

His delegation is set to meet with government officials to negotiate and sign cooperation deals in favour of the two countries.
