Jimi Wanjigi, an ODM presidential hopeful, has linked the late night raid on his Westlands office to comments he made over the weekend criticizing ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Wanjigi stated that no one could scare him for telling the truth and he will continue campaigning.
“If some people are not comfortable with my politics because I speak the truth, I will not stop speaking. We have a solid constitution in this country that guarantees us every right,” he said.
The businessman stated that he would not become another statistic of people being abducted by the police.
“Many people have vanished without a trace, and I’ve witnessed injustices that go unpunished,” he said.
Wanjigi was perplexed as to why some ‘people’ were opposed to his presidential candidacy.
Wanjigi chastised Raila Odinga for being a “perennial” presidential contender during a church service over the weekend.
