A Mwala politician has requested Machakos county governor to ensure all right sub-counties are represented in her executive.
Kilei Mutinda, who was vying for Mwala parliamentary seat using Wiper party ticket and lost to Engineer Vincent Musyoka in August 2022, appealed to governor Wavinya to ensure equity in her cabinet.
“We request the governor to ensure all 40 wards and eight sub-counties are well represented especially in big offices for directors in different sectors.
Kilei, who was addressing the press in Machakos town, lamented that some of the areas had not been given a slot in the executive.
“Some areas did not get any executive position thus they should be represented in other senior positions to ensure Machakos people are served well.”
During her swearing in ceremony, Governor Wavinya promised Machakos County residents of service delivery and changing their living standards.
