Governor Wavinya Ndeti of Machakos County has responded to criticism and public attention arising from allegations by Sammy Kioko over unpaid dues. In a statement, the governor expressed gratitude for the support and engagement of Kenyans.

The governor’s statement comes amid accusations that Kioko has been seeking payment while the county government insists he is attempting to tarnish her name. Kioko, however, maintains that his claims for compensation are genuine, emphasizing that he is owed payment for services rendered.
Governor Ndeti’s message highlights her reliance on public engagement and feedback, even as the controversy continues to generate debate on social media and among Kenyans.
