A Man who is charged with threatening to shoot a woman Kenyatta Market surprised court after stating that he has never seen a pistol or a gun all his life.
Andrew Kagwana Machuka was arraigned at a Nairobi Court with charges of threatening to kill contrary to section 223 of the Penal Code.
“On 14th February 2023 you without lawful excuse you threatened to kill Grace Kimani by telling him you will shoot her with a pistol in broad day light” reads the charge sheet.
However, he denied the charges saying he has never owned or seen a pistol.
He was released on a cash bail of Ksh 20,000.
