President William Ruto has reiterated Kenya’s willingness to strengthen bilateral relations with the United Kingdom.
President Ruto stated that strengthening ties with the United Kingdom is critical to Kenya’s transformational agenda.
“Kenya values its friendly relations with the United Kingdom.” “We believe that by broadening and strengthening our relations with the international community, we can accelerate our country’s transformation,” he said in a tweet on Saturday.
President Ruto attended the coronation of Charles III as King at Westminster Abbey courtesy of the King’s invitation.
In London, the President met with a group of British businesspeople who “have expressed an interest in investing in Kenya’s agriculture, energy, water, and housing sectors.”
President Ruto stated that Kenya is considering “introducing world-class technologies and expertise, creating more jobs for the youth, and spurring our economic growth” as a result of the meeting.
President Ruto has stated that his administration is committed to creating a robust, reliable, and stable institutional structure with attractive incentives and assurances to encourage foreign investment into the country.
The President was scheduled to visit the Netherlands on Sunday for a series of bilateral meetings, including one with King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.
