DP Ruto Promises 50,000 Jobs For Uasin Gichu

If his Kenya Kwanza party wins the August 9 elections, Deputy President William Ruto has promised to generate 50,000 jobs for youths and women in Uasin Gishu county.

Ruto made this commitment at Langas, Eldoret town where he addressed locals.

He added that his administration will build 10,000 low-cost housing units in Eldoret.

Ruto also promised to nominate an extra MP and two MCAs from the Luo and Luhya populations in the county.

The DP campaigned in the area for UDA candidates such as local MP Oscar Sudi and governor Jackson Mandago, among others.

He also urged locals to vote for all UDA nominees.

“I want to assure you that I will not disappoint you and that no one from back home should come here to plan for you,” Ruto added.

Kenya Kwanza, he added, would prioritize economic expansion by investing more than Sh100 billion to create more jobs for young people.
