Nick Ruto, the son of Deputy President William Ruto, has spoken out for the first time about his marriage to Evelyn Chemtai.Â
The bride, a stranger to the Kenyan public life, is a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Baron, hailing from Laikipia county.
On Saturday, the couple married in a beautiful traditional wedding at Windy Ridge in Karen, Nairobi.
The event was a private one, which surprised many Kenyans because the scion had never mentioned his dating life previously.
Nick expressed his gratitude to all those who attended the event in a statement on Facebook.
He also stated that the event went off without a hitch.
