The Witeithie footbridge on the Thika Super Highway is on its final stages.
Kenya national Highways Authority (KeNHA) is finalizing on the hoisting of the steel structures along the 12 lane highways to ensure pedestrians crossing the superhighway are safe.
There was an intermittent traffic snarl up at the busy road as Interways Construction engineers cleared the road after overnight works. The hoisting is expected to be completed next week.
KeNHA has assured the public of its commitment to ensure their safety especially during the festive season.
