Police are looking for a woman who drove off with her lover’s car and Sh700, 000 after a night out in Naivasha.
According to police records, the two arrived from Narok on Saturday and went on a merrymaking spree before the woman went missing on Sunday,June 12, without her partner’s knowledge.
According to Nation, the woman reportedly fled with the car which had Sh700, 000 stashed inside as the victim had a windfall after selling some farm produce and opted to celebrate.
“We want to establish how the woman managed to slip away or if the man was drugged prior to the incident,” the police said.
The lover is said to be in her 40s, and there is speculation that the man was drugged prior to the gateway.
The man rushed to the Naivasha police station to file a police report after failing to locate his mate with whom he had hoped to spend “quality” time.
The police said they were making good progress in recovering the stolen car despite not disclosing much information about the suspect for fear of jeopardizing the case.
According to investigators, the woman was after her lover’s car and money and was bidding for her time, before executing her mission.
