Night 2 of WWE SummerSlam 2025 delivered high-octane drama, emotional moments, and shocking twists, capped by the surprise return of “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. Lesnar appeared for the first time in over two years to launch a brutal attack on John Cena moments after his emotional title loss to Cody Rhodes in the Undisputed WWE Championship main event.

Main Event: Cody Rhodes Defeats John Cena (c) – Street Fight for Undisputed WWE Championship

In a match that echoed their WrestleMania clash earlier this year, Cody Rhodes and John Cena waged war in a brutal street fight. Rhodes withstood five Attitude Adjustments, including two from the top rope, while Cena showed resilience, surviving three Cross Rhodes.

Rhodes finally sealed the victory with a sixth Cross Rhodes, capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship. An emotional post-match moment saw Cena, bloodied but proud, hand Rhodes the title in a symbolic gesture of passing the torch.
