KeNHA Closes Section Of Mombasa Road For 7 Days

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) on Friday, December 2022, issued a traffic advisory to the general public informing them of a planned temporary closure of a section of Mombasa Road.

KeNHA asked motorists to take alternate routes during the seven-day closure, which will begin on Monday, December 26, 2022 and end on Sunday, January 1, 2023.

We wish to notify the general public that there will be a temporary traffic diversion on Mombasa Road towards Nairobi CBD,” KeNHA said in a statement.

KeNHA cautioned that traffic will be re-routed from around Subaru Kenya and Simba Corpo Motors, all the way to Panesar Center on Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.

The diversion, they said, is to enable the completion of remaining works along the section of Mombasa Road during this festive season.

They said that motorists will be guided by traffic signage along the road to show them which way to go.

“We advise motorists on Mombasa road to adhere to the temporary speed limits when approaching the construction zone and passing through the temporary diversion,” they said.
