Nick Mwendwa Arraigned ‘Chargeless’

President of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Nick Mwendwa and other officials were arraigned on Monday.

According to the prosecution, officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) were wrapping up their investigations and needed additional time before the suspects could enter pleas.

The officers were seeking 14 days to complete their investigations.

They were arrested last week after Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed abolished the federation and appointed a six-month caretaker commission chaired by retired judge Aaron Ringera.

Mwendwa and other federation officials are being investigated for mismanagement and other violations.
