Raila Odinga, the head of the ODM party, met with a group of Mt Kenya elders on Thursday morning in order to shore up support for his presidential run in 2022.
The gathering in a Nairobi hotel comes only days after the Mt Kenya Foundation, a group of rich central Kenya businesspeople, supported Raila for President.
National Assembly Majority Leader Amos Kimunya, Deputy Majority Whip Maoka Maore, Kieni MP Kanini Kega, Limuru MP Peter Mwathi, Muranga Woman Rep Sabina Chege, former MP Dennis Waweru, and other politicians attended the breakfast meeting, which was also attended by Suna East MP Junet Mohammed.
