132 Civilians Killed In Burkina Faso Terror Attack

At least 132 civilians were murdered in Burkina Faso’s biggest terrorist strike in recent years, the authorities announced on Saturday, when armed gunmen besieged a community in the jihadist-infested northeast overnight.

On Friday night, the terrorists attacked during the night, murdering inhabitants of the village of Solhan in Yagha province, which borders Niger. According to the administration, they also set fire to residences and the market.

It proclaimed a 72-hour period of national mourning, labeling the assailants as terrorists, despite the fact that no group has claimed responsibility. Another 40 individuals were injured, according to government spokeswoman Ousseni Tamboura.
