As the search for victims of a starvation cult continues, fifteen more bodies have been discovered at Shakahola Forest in Kilifi County.
According to Coast Regional Commissioner Rhoda Onyancha, 14 of the 15 bodies discovered on Wednesday were exhumed from graves, while the other was discovered dumped in the bushes.
This brings the total number of dead bodies recovered from the forest to 227.
RC Onyancha reported that one person, a male, was rescued during the search and rescue operation on Wednesday.
She claims, however, that no arrests were made during the operation and that the number of people in police custody remains at 31.
