The multi-agency security team conducting ‘Operation Maliza Uhalifu North Rift’ had a successful day yesterday.
According to the National Police Service (NPS), the security team subdued bandits and recovered 2600 goats that had been stolen at Nayanatiir and Nakwakaal Villages in Turkana East Sub-County.
“Upon positive identification, the animals were immediately handed over to the owners,” the NPS said.
The multi-agency security team lauds the immense support provided by the local communities that led to the recovery of the livestock.
