Kibera Law Courts has released three suspects accused of violent robbery, attempted rape and kidnapping of an Australian man and his Ugandan wife on Ksh1 million bond.
In a statement, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) noted that the three; Nashon Otieno Angudha, Felix Ochieng’ Nyongesa and Jack Ouma Okwiri pleaded not guilty to the charges and were released on Ksh1 million bond with an alternative of Ksh300,000 cash bail.
“Upon completion of investigations and in consultation with @ODPP_KE, three suspects in the violent robbery and loathsome acts of indecency were yesterday arraigned at Kibera Law Courts charged with 10 counts.
“Nashon Otieno Angudha, Felix Ochieng’ Nyongesa and Jack Ouma Okwiri pleaded not guilty to charges of Robbery with Violence, Committing an indecent act with an adult, Being in possession of forged bank notes, Making a document without authority, forgery and conspiracy to defraud,” DCI said.
