3D Printed Meat Hits Restaurant Menus

Redefine Meat

Israeli firm Redefine Meat will begin delivering 3D-printed plant-based “meat” items at select high-end restaurants in Europe, the company announced on Tuesday

The tech firm will also unveil what it claimed was “the world’s first” entire cuts that mimic lamb and cow pieces.

The company claimed to have “cracked the holy grail of the alternative meat industry,” which consists primarily of minced products that lack the fibrous texture of animal meat.

Redefine Meat’s New Meat line now comprises complete cuts as well as burgers, sausages, lamb kebabs, and ground beef.

The company aims at becoming “the world’s largest meat company by offering every single cut that a cow does,” according to the company.

According to the company, Redefine Meat’s goods are sold at 150 restaurants and establishments in Israel, including Tel Aviv’s Coffee Bar and Hotel Montefiore.
