748 Air Services Suspends Domestic Flights In Kenya

Aviation company 748 Air Services Limited has suspended all domestic commercial flights effective March 1, 2023.

According to Managing Director Moses Mwangi, the airline has decided to focus on providing humanitarian aviation services in seven African countries.

“After extensive review of our business strategy, we have opted to focus on our core business, the Humanitarian Aviation, currently operating in 7 African Countries,” Mwangi said.

“We, therefore, regret to inform you that we have resolved to suspend all our Domestic Scheduled commercial flights effective 1st March 2023,” he added.

He said 748 Air Services ARS system will remain open up to June 30, 2023 to allow processing of refunds for all the advanced tickets purchased.

Mwangi said that the airline started its domestic commercial operations on May 20, 2021, offering flights to Mombasa, Malindi, Diani, Kisumu and Maasai Mara.

Mwangi expressed gratitude to its customers and partners for their ongoing support and cooperation over the years.

He added that they will continue to connect humanity with every flight by working with partners in support of peace and eradication of hunger in Africa.
