After 53 years of missionary work in Kenya (1968-2021), Fr. Adolf Omogaka Paul, popularly known as “father alleluia” will relocate back to Italy for his retirement.
Father Alleluia hit the trends when upon his retirement, packed all his personal blessings in two small bags, depicting humility in service.
He retires today at the age of 81. He hails from South Tyrol at the border of Italy and Austria.
He was ordained as a priest in 1966 in his home Diocese of Bolzano-Brixen, Northern Italy.
In Kenya, he served the diocese of Kisii (1969-2000) and the diocese of Malindi (2001-2021)
Father Alleluhia served under Maurice Cardinal Otunga when the latter was the Kisii Bishop.
