The main suspect in the tragic death of 22-year-old Amos Sang has been apprehended following a nationwide manhunt.
Robert Cheruiyot, whose alleged brutal actions were captured in a now-viral video on social media, is currently in custody at Ruaraka Police Station. An accomplice has also been detained at Longisa Police Station as investigations intensify.
The harrowing incident unfolded on October 31 when Cheruiyot reportedly confronted Sang at his residence in Teduet village, located in the Chemaner area of Bomet County, accusing the young man of stealing his chickens.
