A man appeared in court today and faced charges of assault and causing actual body arm.
Johnson Kamau Maina was said to have smacked his wife Pamela in airport view estate in lang,ata.
Through his lawyer, the accused argued that it was a family affair and there pleaded for reasonable bond terms. Mr. Maina assaulted his wife on January 5, 2020.
He was before principal magistrate Derrick Kuto in Kibera. The accused was released on Sh50, 000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Sh30, 000.
Mr. Maina will appear in court on May 25, 2020 for the hearing of his case.
