Senior business reporter for CNN Richard Quest has tested positive for Coronavirus – By Prudence Wanza.
Quest took to Twitter to announce that he was infected with the disease and only had a few symptoms.
“I have caught Coronavirus. I am blessed in that I have a few symptoms just a cough. I am saving prayers and thoughts for those less fortunate. Stay in. And protect lives.” He said
Quest revealed that he was tested over the weekend and the results came out positive but he thanks God that he doesn’t have horrific symptoms such breathlessness
“I am thankful and grateful that I don’t seem to have any of the horrific symptoms of the others,” Quest told viewers Monday. “I just have a nasty cough which, thankfully tonight because of our excellent technical staff, you haven’t heard me too much spluttering away.”
He, however, plans to continue hosting his show unless the symptoms become severe.
Other popular on-air figures at the news network, Chris Cuomo and Brooke Baldwin, have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Cuomo has continued to anchor Cuomo Prime Time, but Baldwin has taken a medical eave to recover. She said that she hopes to return to the air on April 27.
