The MP Shah Chania Boys High School bus was involved in a road accident on Saturday night while transporting students back to Thika from a school trip. The incident occurred along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, but the accident left the students stranded in Naivasha. With no immediate replacement vehicle, they were forced to spend the night in town under the care of their teachers and local authorities.
On Sunday morning, a replacement bus was arranged, and the students safely resumed their journey to Thika.
School administrators have reassured parents that all students are safe and have promised a full review of transportation safety protocols. Investigations into the cause of the accident are currently ongoing.
