One Million in Ukraine Lack Heat, Water After Russian Attacks on Infrastructure

Russian drone strikes overnight have cut off heat and water for more than one million people in southeastern Ukraine, a senior Ukrainian official said Thursday.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba stated that the large-scale attack damaged critical infrastructure across the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Emergency crews are working to restore services.

The attacks are part of a recent Russian campaign intensifying strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, seeking to paralyze power supplies during a harsh winter.
