The afro pop band is in on the BBI topic but they are opposing the building bridges initiative and the referendum that the many politicians are championing for.
The group took to their twitter account and used a line from one of their songs in the latest album midnight train to quote and said: “BBI enyewe is a no go zone. “They tweeted this on 1st December.
The BBI reported is being led by the president and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and it has received mixed reactions to some not even knowing the BBI exists and what exactly is in the BBI document.
Signature collection was launched by the two and the deadline was 1st December and it already has 1.5 million. The main aim for the signature collection was to get people to decide whether there will be a referendum.
Kivutha Kibwana however moved to court to challenge the BBI and also use of public funds that will be used to carry out the referendum .
Though the tweet is still not clear whether they are against the BBI
