She is now one of the most vocal figures in recent times, recently she revealed how shy she is when it comes to asking for collaborations from her male counter parts. – By Stephanie Mwangi.
She was recently crowned Billboard woman of the year 2020. As she talks about her career she said,
“The thing is I’m shy and really shy to reach out to male artists to be honest, that’s why a lot of collaborations that I want I haven’t gotten yet because am scared to reach out I always get a little star-struck I’ll be thinking I’m corny even though I’m funny.”
“when it comes to me writing or putting ideas of my personal life in the music I get really shy ,when I perform songs like be Careful or Ring usually close ,my eyes because I get shy about showing that lovey-dovey side even to my engineer , I start giggling like oh my God I can’t this is so embarrassing .”
It is hard seeing a bold and outspoken lady as Cardi B admitting of being shy despite the many stories she has had to address in regards to her family
